MIRANDA SECONDARI

Miranda Secondari is a choreographer and performer.
She obtained a degree in Garden and Landscape Architecture. During her studies, she came into contact with numerous artistic figures, including those who had a significant impact on her research, such as Romeo Castellucci, Yasmine Hugonnet, and Silvia Rampelli.
Her choreographic practice is oriented toward precise, time-extended movements that lead to the emergence of unexpected images and the attainment of a state of presence as a form of resistance. Her work on the body, between immobility and mobility, explores the dichotomy between subject and object and highlights the relationship between body and space. The performative intervention engages in dialogue and relates to the given space. The objects, costumes, and sounds used on stage are things that are given a meaning, a symbolic value.
