Nora Aurrekoetxea (1989, Bilbao - Basque Country), graduated in Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country and holding an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art, London, she also completed a postgraduate course in Sexology at In.ci.sex., Madrid (2011–2013), which directly informs her practice. During this period, she co-founded and co-directed OKELA, an artist-run space in Bilbao, fostering formal and discursive dialogues between artists from different generations of the Basque Country.

Her work is included in the permanent collections of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, ARTIUM – Basque Museum Centre of Contemporary Art, Fundación María José Jove, ARCO Foundation, Ca2M Museum and Botín Centre.
